You say Argentinean, I say Argentine
Climbing from the depths of Patagonia, sweeping across the grassy green pampas, edging the shores of the Atlantic and ridges of the Andes- Argentina is the massive southern chunk of South America whose climate, geography, and topography is as complex as its people and society. Having survived iron-fist military rule and oppression, Argentina rebuilt itself as a nation throughout the 80s and 90s until dealt a complete economic collapse in 2001. Already the Argentine economy has rebounded and, as history proves, will continue steadily.
Nearly 75% of Argentines live in the capital. Cosmopolitan Buenos Aires was once home to Spanish, Italian, and German immigrants who now make up the typical porteños but modern-day Peruvian, Bolivian, Paraguayan, Japanese, Chinese, African, Jewish, and American communities have cropped up creating an eclectic melting pot of peoples. Gaucho culture is heavy throughout the rural pampas of the interior of the country, while Patagonia is host to the country's economic high rollers, and the far north searches for increased development.
